John B. White, Jr., Consultant, The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, Ga.

White retired from Coca-Cola in June 2000 after 34 years of service. At the time of his retirement he was assistant vice president, governmental relations, a position he had held since 1993, and secretary to the management development committee of the company’s board of directors. From 1981 to 1993 he served as executive assistant to the president of the company. He has worked in media, community and government relations for Coca-Cola and previously worked in media and publishing. He is a Duke parent (William, AB ’98, MBA ’03).
