Students studying abroad in the spring need to do as much preparation as possible before leaving campus.
It can be difficult, although not impossible, to apply for internships from abroad. You should complete and submit the Personal Data Sheet and resume, finalize your internship choices, and if possible, try to arrange interviews during the fall semester. If the initial contact has been made before you leave, you can continue to communicate with potential sponsors by e-mail and fax while you are abroad.
