Development and Prevention of Substance Use Problems
This project aims to understand how early conduct disorder leads to substance-use problems; to understand processes of resilience to substance-use development among conduct-problem children; and to test the efficacy of a conduct-disorder prevention program in preventing substance-use problems in young adulthood.

Duke Transdisciplinary Prevention Research Center
This adolescent substance abuse prevention center is working to identify the peer influences associated with adolescent substance abuse and seeks to change the way substance abuse prevention messages are presented to young people.
