Dennis Rondinelli Memorial Collection
Dennis August Rondinelli
March 30, 1943 – March 7, 2007

In memory of Dennis Rondinelli, colleagues and friends have dedicated a library collection in his memory. Dr. Rondinelli was a scholar of exceptional international standing, and was much revered by his colleagues at DCID and by all who knew him over his professional career. Located in the Rubenstein Hall Resource Room, the collection includes works by Dr. Rondinelli and others, and is intended to be a resource to faculty, students, and people involved at all levels in the study of the study of public policy.
An world-renowned scholar, Dr. Rondinelli wrote or edited 19 books and published more than 250 book chapters and articles pertaining to international development policy, administrative reform, globalization and economic development, public-private partnerships and private enterprise development. He conducted research in Asia, Central Europe, Latin America, and Africa, and in recognition of his outstanding contributions to scholarship, teaching and service, Dr. Rondinelli received numerous honors and awards.
Dr. Rondinelli’s sudden death left a lasting gap at DCID and in the lives of all who knew and worked with him.
