HLP Alumni Group Announces Spring Events
The DC Hart Leadership Program Alumni and Supporters is kicking off with several get-togethers this spring! This alumni group is forming to reconnect interested alumni, students, professors from the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy's Hart Leadership Program at Duke University. If you are interested in learning more, a list of our Spring events are below for the DC metro area. We hope you will join us.

Thursday, April 24th, 2008
5:00-5:40 p.m.

DC Duke HLP Alumni and Supporters will gather for a Pre-DCW Christopher Gergen Event Meet and Greet at Firehook Bakery and Coffeehouse on Thursday 4/24 at 5:00-5:40pm (555 13th Street, NW, Washington, DC (Metro Center). This will be a time to enjoy an informal discussion with Christopher Gergen and fellow HLP Alumni and Supporters. Christopher is a visiting lecturer and Director of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Initiative at Duke University within the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy's Hart Leadership Program. Do you want to learn more about applying your vision, talents, creativity and energy to not only your work, but your entire life? Join the Duke Club of Washington on Thursday, April 24 for this innovative event featuring Chris Gergen ?93, author of Life Entrepreneurs: Ordinary People Creating Extraordinary Lives and Director of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Initiative at Duke. Held at Hogan & Hartson in D.C., light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Special guests include Raj Vinnakota, co-founder and managing director, SEED Foundation and Schools, and Kimberly Wilson, Founder and CEO, Tranquil Space and Tranquil Space Foundation, two of the fifty-five leading entrepreneurs worldwide who were interviewed for the book.
