Leadership and Arts Policy Internship Grant Announced
The Hart Leadership Program is happy to announce the Leadership and Arts Policy Internship (LAPI) Grant, a $4,000 award that supports innovative Public Policy internships that explore leadership and arts policy.*
Undergraduate Public Policy majors who are planning to do their PPS internship this summer are encouraged to apply for the grant. The grant can be used to cover travel and living expenses, as well as other costs associated with an internship focusing on leadership and the arts. Applications are due by 5pm on Friday, April 4, 2008.

An internship in leadership and arts policy could examine topics such as: the arts in American civic life; conflicts about arts education, censorship, and public funding; the aims and effects of philanthropic arts support; the objectives and problems of arts institutions; the effectiveness of artistic organizations; or issues of political and organizational leadership in arts organizations.
