Trisha Bailey
Research Service-Learning Coordinator

Trisha Bailey is the Research Service-Learning Coordinator for the Hart Leadership Program, where she coordinates the Hart Fellows Program, Service Opportunities in Leadership (SOL), and the Research Service-Learning Pathway courses in Public Policy. Originally from Scottsdale, AZ, Trisha has moved all over the country, but now considers Durham her home. She graduated from Duke University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies and a minor in Religion. As a student, Trisha participated in the SOL Program and received the Terry Sanford Distinguished Leadership Award in Public Policy, Duke Panhellenic Council’s Women’s Leadership Award, and the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for Outstanding Commitment to Service. Before returning to the Hart Leadership Program, Trisha taught kindergarten at the Excellence Charter School of Bedford-Stuyvesant, an all-boys elementary school in Brooklyn, NY. In her free time, Trisha enjoys traveling, cooking, learning to golf, and watching Duke Basketball.
