Doug McClary
Program Manager
Doug McClary, program manager for the
Hart Leadership Program, graduated from Duke in 1997 with a degree
in history. After working for several years in Washington, D.C.
as a legislative analyst for Public Strategies Washington, Inc.,
he spent two years training teachers in Uganda as a Peace Corps
Volunteer. While in Uganda, Doug collaborated with local communities
and U.S. book sources to build thirty school libraries. Doug and
his wife, Darci, live in Chapel Hill with their two dogs, Wrigley
and Abby.
