Overview: Enterprising Projects

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Initiative works with students interested in pursuing innovative solutions to university and community problems. Students are limited only by their imagination and commitment. Regardless of their focus, participating students go through a process for creating and implementing a successful enterprising project. They must:

• Identify a personal passion
• Identify a social need or opportunity
• Develop a credible enterprising idea
• Seek the endorsement of key stakeholders
• Formulate a compelling plan
• Marshal resources
• Implement the plan
• Sustain the program
