Marissa Downs was a 2001-02 Hart Fellow working with the International Rescue Committee in
Rwanda as a research officer engaging in program monitoring and evaluation. She also focused
on civic and social education and the use of alternative media such as radio via Internet.
Marissa graduated from the University or North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001 with majors in
International Studies and Peace, War and Defense. She currently works for the Department of
Defense. |
