Research: PPARC is focused on investigations into the genetic and non-genetic determinants of longevity. The center's Research Projects, supported by the US NIA, include analyses of mortality datasets, survey projects on the oldest-old, and studies in the field of “evolutionary demography” where researchers investigate vertebrate, invertebrate and plant models to study lifespan.
Publications: Since 1995, hundreds of peer-reviewed articles, conference presentations and books and/or book chapters have been published based on the results of PPARC’s research. For links to bibliographies and to the full text of articles, see the Publications page.
Public Use Data: PPARC's Data & Documents List gives information about datasets from PPARC research that are available to other researchers and includes information about (or links to) the documents - questionnaires, code books, other - that were used, or are being used, in the performance of PPARC research projects.
