The John Hope Franklin Center
When Peter Feaver became TISS Director in January 2000, the TISS offices moved over to Duke. After a few months the TISS offices moved from a house on Campus Drive to the rennovated old nursing dorm, now named after John Hope Franklin and dedicated to interdisciplinary studies. We very much enjoyed our stay in this most hospitable environment, where food and friendship flowed in abundance. We remain particularly grateful to Rob Sikorski, Director of the Center for International Studies, who continues to be very supportive of our programs, in particular New Faces.
