Joe Caddell
Joe Caddell has two great claims to fame - he is a native of North Carolina - he grew up in the Sandhills - and he teaches more courses at more schools than seems humanly possible. Among these are Air Power, Sea Power, and Military History - but the list goes on well beyond this. A retired Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Air Force Reserves, he has been a mainstay of TISS since he became its first Post-Doctoral Fellow in 1985, attending or participating in virtually every TISS event, travelling far and wide as a member of the Speakers' Bureau, and always ready to offer assistance when needed. His enthusiasm for learning, his love of students, and his great sense of humor have made him a magnet for young people, many of whom have joined TISS after taking his classes.
