TISS Honorary Fellows

TISS owes much of its success to the dedication of a small handful of truly devoted members.

Three have been awarded an honorary fellowship in recognition of their service: Jeffrey Elliot, North Carolina Central University, Cori Dauber, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Joseph Caddell, UNC-Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. All three have played a vital role in the TISS community. They have been tireless in assisting TISS in its outreach efforts, speaking to schools and community groups. They have organized and/or participated in many of our conferences and/or seminars and between them have attended virtually every TISS event of the last two decades. In addition, Cori served as Interim Director in 1998 and Joe as the first TISS postdoctoral fellow (1984) while Jeff served for many years as NCCU representative to the NCCI Model United Nations and prepared NCCU students to participate in TISS conferences on Graduate Study in International and Security Affairs. As of June 2006 Jeff has been a member of the TISS Executive Board.
